Day 03: Early morning visit to Sarankot that is 9 kms to the north west of Pokhara is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Nepal. Conveniently, high on the top of a ridge at 1,592m., the serene hill resort offers beautiful sunrise view and the spectacular panorama of the entire Annapurna range stretching from east to west and the un-spoilt rural settlements just below those towering peaks. The climate of Pokhara is slightly warmer than Kathmandu with daytime temperature hovering around 15 degrees Celsius in winter and 35 degrees in summer.
