Chitwan National Park was declared UNESCO Natural Heritage Site in 1979. This park is situated in southern central Nepal, covering 932 sq.km covered with deciduous forests overlooking the floodplains of Narayani, Rapti and Reu rivers.

This famous park offers a wilderness of rich ecosystem that includes mammals, birds, reptiles and water animals of several kinds. The highlights of this park are the 500 Asian one-horned rhinoceros and some hundred nocturnal Royal Bengal tigers that live in the dense forests of the park.The superb Royal Bengal Tiger. Sharing home with these are other animals like rhesus monkey, grey langur, deer, leopards and wild cats etc. Another most important factor adding to the chitwan experience is the colorful Tharu Culture, their way of living, culture and tradition and heart touching Tharu Dance. Trip Details Itinerary

Day 01 : Arrive Kathmandu, transfer to airport

Day 02 : Early morning 05/06 hours)by tourist bus for Chitwan national park for safari in In full board from arrival to departure including activity (see programme attached).Chitwan Jungle Safari Inside National Park- 3 Night / 4 Days Program.

Day 03 : Arrive, meet and transfer via boat across the Narayani River to Island Jungle Resort. On reaching resort, our guest relations officer will brief guest.

  • 1:00 p.m.: Lunch.
  • 3:30 p.m.: Elephant Safari / Jungle Walk / Nature walk with Boat ride.
  • 8:00 p.m.: Dinner.

Day 04 : 5:30 a.m.: Wake up call followed by tea/coffee.

  • 6:00 a.m.: Bird watching / Elephant Safari / Jungle walk.
  • 8:00 a.m.: Breakfast.
  • 9:30 a.m.: Crocodile walk. A 45 minutes walk through grassland and forest upstream of the Narayani River. Board boats to observe crocodiles along the banks while floating back to the camp.
  • 1:00 p.m.: Lunch.
  • 3:30 p.m.: Elephant Safari /Jungle Walk / Visit Observation Tower / Nature Walk with Boat Ride.
  • 8:00 p.m.: Dinner.

Day 05 : 5:30 a.m.: Wake up call followed by tea/coffee.

  • 6:00 a.m.: Bird watching / Elephant Safari / Jungle walk.
  • 8:00 a.m.: Breakfast
  • 9:30 a.m.: (Option 1) Boat Excursion to Amattari Ghat followed by a full day Nature Trek to the Churia Hills. Pack lunch enroute and return by land rover / jeep.
  • 9:30 am: (Option 2) Visit a local village to see and learn about the people of Chitwan.
  • Return to camp.
  • 1:00 p.m.: Lunch.
  • 3:30 p.m.: Boat excursion to Amaltari Ghat and return by jeep / land rover.
  • 8:00 p.m.: Dinner.

Day 06 : 5:30 a.m.: Wake up call followed by tea/coffee.

  • 6:00 a.m.: Bird watching / Elephant Safari / jungle walk.
  • 8:00 a.m.: Breakfast.
  • 9:30 a.m.: Departure.

Day 07 : Drive Chitawan to Pokhara by tourist bus. hotel near 5 minutes walk from lake.

Day 08 : Pokhara, depart to Sarankot by taxi for view point over himalayan ranges & descend by foot (3 hours afternoon free).

Day 09 : Drive or flight to Kathmandu

Day 10 : Kathmandu, visit of Pashupatinath ,improtant hindu site, Swoyambhunath ( buddhist temple).

Day 11 : Free day in Kathmandu. Transfer at airport

Day 12 : Transfer to airport, depart Kathmandu
