Short Explanation of Nepal Helambu Valley Trekking Helambu trek is short (around 74 kilometers Northeast of Katmandu) and easy trek have Nepal and easily access from Katmandu. Helambu offer many Monastery visit, Rhododendron forest (flower; March/April), superb mountain views, picturesque Sherpa settlements, friendly people and after all unspoiled culture of the area. This trek also offers fascinating views of Yangri Peak and Tembalthang Peak (5702m) etc.
Our trek starts from Katmandu after driving by bus/car to Sundarijal, which is just 13km from Katmandu. We then continue ascend to Chisopani where we spend first night just outside valley. Chisopani offer great view of mountain and landscape. Then we make almost a circle going through Khutumsang, Tharapati that are amongst the first villages to be passed, followed by Malemchi Gaon and Tarke Gyang. Two possible routes are available from Tarke Gyang, one to complete the trek and another that leads to the Arniko Highway, the main considered to be of considerable beauty. It is the home of the Yolmo. The Helambu derives from the word Yolmo or Hyolmo. The Helambu region begins at the Lauribina La pass and descends to the Melamchi valley. Helambu is also famous for its sweet apples and artistic Buddhist monasteries and it is a sacred place for all the Buddhists around the world of Katmandu leading to Tibet. To complete the trek one would proceed towards Melamchi Pul and direct drive to Katmandu.

Day 03: Sundarijal trek to Chisopani (2,300mt.)
Drive from Kathmandu takes you to the starting point of the trek. On arrival at Sundarijal, you can visit Shivapuri national park.
Day 04: Chisopani trek to Khutumsang (2,470mt.):
Chisopani the trail leads After reaching Pati Bhanjyang, the trail leads up and then down to the village of Gul Bhanjyang (2140m). From here the trails climbs up to 2620m and then again descends along the rocky route to Khutumsang (2470m).
Day 05: Khutumsang trek to Tharepati (3490mt.):
The trail continues via lightly populated forest to Magen Goth from where the view of Langtang and Gosaikund peak is stunning, and finally reaching Tharepati (3490m).
Day 06: Tharepati trek to Tarke Gyang (3690mt.):
Turning east, the trail rapidly descends down a ravine through small Sherpa village of Malemchigaon (2530m) with splendid lodges and fine old and artistic Gompas.
Day 07: Tarke Ghyang trek to Sermathang (2620mt.):
beautiful forest to Sermathang (2620m). It is the centre of an important apple growing area from where a fantastic view of the Himalayas is seen..
Day 08: Sermathang trek Kagani The local culture, taking time out to meet the people of the area and understand their lifestyle and customs. It also acts as a spare day in case you wish to take the trek a little slower.
Day 09: Kagani trek to Malemchi Pul Bazar (846mt.)
Malemchi Pul Drive to Kathmandu (4-5 hours drive by bus).
Day 10: In Kathmandu, free day to rest and shopping.
Day 11: Transfer to airport, depart Kathmandu
