This Trek is suitable for all the generation, children, adult and old people, following the footsteps of the old approach route followed by Everest expeditions from the 1950's through the 70's. We start Trek from Jiri to the base camp of Mt. Everest. En-route you come across wide valley at Bhandar and Sherpa settlements at Junbesi. Cross the pass at Takshindu (3048m), there is a Buddhist monastery. Continue the journey to Phakding and enter into the home of Sherpa people perched in the nook and corner of the valleys in Khumbu. Visit village at Thame (3811m) and Khumjung. Stop night at Namche Bazar and Thayngboche on the way to base camp. As you approach base camp you stop night at a remote settlement at Dingboche and Lobouje. From Lobouje make a day trek to Kalapattar to see great view of Mt. Everest. Retrace the trail back to Lukla. The trek ends with flight to Katmandu.

Crossing the Lamjura pass, you can experience Sherpa culture in Junbesi. Explore the Sherpa museum in Namche Bazaar, enjoy the panoramic view from Syanboche, experience Sherpa culture in Khumjung village, and visit Tyangboche Monastery. Grand mountain views from Kalapatar - Spectacular views of glacier from Everest Base Camp - View the beautiful glacial lake from Gokyo peak.

Everest trekking via Jiri is easy and enjoyable. It is essentially day hiking and doesn't require any special training. However, good physical condition, a love of walking, and a desire to enjoying the spectacular views of the mountains and encounter village life are essential.

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu, transfer to airport.

Day 02: In Kathmandu- free day, sort out permit & equipment.

Day 03: Drive to Jiri (1305m).

Day 04: Jiri trek to Shivalaya (2500m).

Day 05: Shivalaya trek to Bhandar

Day 06: Bhandar trek to Sete (2575m).

Day 07: Sete trek to Lamjura Pass (3530m.) - Junbesi (2675m).

Day 08: Junbesi trek to Trakshindo Pass ( 3071m.) to Nunthala (2350m).

Day 09: Nunthala trek to Kharikhola (2050m).

Day 10: Kharikhola trek to Surke (2339m).

Day 11: Surke trek to Phakding (2640m).

Day 12: Phakding trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m).

Day 13: Rest day at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization.

Day 14: Namche Bazaar trek to Debuche (3867m).

Day 15: Debuche trek to Dingboche (4343m).

Day 16: Rest at Dingboche for acclimatization. On this day trip towards Chukhung (4730m).

Day 17: Dingboche trek to Lobuche (4840m).

Day 18: Lobuche trek to Kala patthar(5550m.) and back to Lobuche

Day 19: Lobuche Trek to Pangbuche.

Day 20: Pangbuche.trek to Phurtse

Day 21: Phurtse trek to Namche Bazaar.

Day 22: Namche Bazaar trek to Lukla

Day 23: Fly to Kathmandu
