Trishuli River, the road gradually ascends to Shyaphru besi. Trek start from Shyaphru besi and you will travel on foot to Langtang National Park. The open valley at Langtang gradually unfolds as you ascend from Ghore Tabela through scattered Tamang villages. At Langtang you will visit Buddhist monastery at Kyanjin Gompa (3811m), cheese factory at Yala and, if time permit, explore glacier at Langsisa (4125 m). It is the closest alpine region from Katmandu. A jeep or bus ride to Shyaphru besi is about 8 hours from Katmandu. The road is quite rough. After 3 days, you will be in high Himalayan valleys where you can see yak and Bhotia culture. The trail to Langtang gradually climbs to Syabru (2134m), Ghoretabela (3048m) and reach Langtang (3514m). This whole trek offers fascinating views of Langtang Lirung (7227m), Langtang II (6596m), Langshisa-Ri (6427m), Pemthang Karpo-Ri (6865m), Dorjee Lakpa (6966m), Surya Peak (5145m) and Yala Peak (5500m) etc. Retrace the trail back to Dhunche Bazzar and drive back to Katmandu./p>
