This Trek is great, enjoyable and adventure Trek. This is a less crowded popular adventure trek in the Everest region. You can observe the natural beauties and get more entertainment from this Trek. Here, the Renjo Lake and Gokyo Peak is the one of the most beautiful place of this trek. This is quick escape to the base camp of Everest. From the Renjo GokyoTrek the Everest Trek is possible throughout the year however; the best times to visit are from the beginning of March to mid May and from the beginning of September to mid November. The winters are very cold summers are wet. April and early May, is a good time to see the trees bursting into bloom, with Rhododendrons, adding a spectacular splash of color to the landscape? The views are simply great after the summer monsoons have cleared the atmosphere of dust.
Altitude sickness is a serious concern in the Everest region that can affect even young and healthy people. The only medicine to high altitude sickness is to descend, descend and descend. Headache is the most common symptom and there are other signs of Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) for different people but include fatigue, dizziness, loss of appetite, nausea or vomiting, difficulty in walking and rattling breath.
You will start trek at Lukla (2805m); walk through Namche bazar (3445m), Theme (3490mt.) Marulung (4210m). Renjo Lake, Renjo pass (5340m.) crosses Gokyo (4750m) Thyangbohce (3866m), Pheriche and Lobouje (4930m).Visit Kalapattar and if possible base camp before returning to Lukla. Total duration includes acclimatization days at Namche Bazar and Pheriche. The highest elevation reached is (5183m) at Kalapattar. You can observe the Kalapattar, stone-walled fields and houses of ancient villages steeped in history and tradition, golden-roofed monasteries set amid stunning mountain scenery, the Yak and wild animals and of course to see the Sherpa’s. You can have beautiful view of the Renjo and Gokyo Peak. You return to the lukla and back Katmandu.
