Sonam Gelbu Sherpa

I was born in the Solukhumbu District of Nepal where I had the privilege to spend my childhood in the Everest region. Living surrounded by the majestic Himalayas made me want to share my home and culture with the world. I entered trekking, expedition and mountaineering fields with tourism in 1993.
